Telaga Community

We are a sub caste of the Kapu, or Naidu community of Andhra and concentrated primarily in the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh. We are primarily an agragarian community as well as an ancient warrior clan of India. Being feudal landlords, we had links with all the major ruling dynasties of South India like Chalukyas, Cholas, Kakateeyas and the Vijayanagar kingdom.
